1.1 The promoter is Inside Line Competitions LTD, trading as Insideline Competitions, company number 17472976, with its registered office at Unit 20C Dorset Avenue, Cleveleys, England, FY5 2DB (“we”, “us” or “Promoter”). Contact us at info@insidelinecompetitions.com. Our website is www.insidelinecompetitions.com (“Website”).
1.2 These terms apply to each prize draw advertised on the Website. The page for an individual draw (“Draw Page”) forms part of these terms and states its prize, entry price, opening and closing times, entry limits, draw method and any prize-specific requirements. If the Draw Page contains a clearly identified additional condition, that condition applies to that draw; otherwise these terms govern. Significant conditions will also be shown clearly before entry.
1.3 Each “Draw” selects its winner or winners after entries close. Times are UK local time unless stated otherwise.
2.1 Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter and anyone materially involved in administering a Draw, and their immediate families or households, may not enter.
2.2 You must provide accurate, current details and, where the Website requires an account, use only one account in your own name. We may request reasonable proof of age, identity, address and eligibility before awarding a prize. We will explain what is needed and allow a reasonable time to provide it.
2.3 Entries made by bots, under false identities or through attempts to bypass entry limits are invalid. We may reject affected entries where we have reasonable evidence of manipulation or fraud, explain the decision and refund paid entries where required by law.
3.1 Each Draw Page gives the opening time, closing time, maximum total entries (if any), maximum entries per person and entry price. The same per-person limit applies across paid and free routes combined. A valid entry received before closing and before a stated entry cap is reached will be allocated an entry number. We will not reserve places for entries in transit.
3.2 To enter online, follow the Draw Page instructions, select the number of entries, supply the requested details, accept these terms and complete payment. A paid entry becomes valid once payment succeeds and we record the entry. We will send an entry confirmation to the email address supplied. Please contact us promptly if it does not arrive.
3.3 If a Draw Page includes a question, the page will state how answers are assessed. An incorrect answer will not qualify for the draw. A simple question by itself should not be treated as a substitute for the free route described below.
3.4 We will not extend a closing date merely because entries have not sold. We may change a date or suspend a Draw only if circumstances outside our reasonable control make that necessary; we will explain the change promptly on the Draw Page and give entrants a fair remedy, including a refund where the Draw is cancelled. A sold-out Draw closes to new entries when its stated cap is reached; its winner selection takes place on the published draw date unless the Draw Page clearly states an earlier selection on sell-out.
4.1 You can enter every Draw without paying us. Send one legible entry per envelope or postcard, using standard first or second-class post, to Unit 20C Dorset Avenue, Cleveleys, England, FY5 2DB. Ordinary postage is your only cost. Special delivery or tracked post is not required. Postal entries will not be accepted directly through the letter box. The free route will be displayed prominently alongside paid entry on every Draw Page and in relevant advertising.
4.2 Include the exact Draw name, your full name, date of birth, postal address, email address, phone number and answer to any applicable question. State that you accept these terms. If an account is required for paid entrants, create one before posting and use matching details; registration is free. We will use the information solely as described in section 10.
4.3 Each correctly completed postal submission counts as one entry and has the same chance of winning as one paid entry. You may submit separate postal entries up to the same per-person limit as paid entrants. A single envelope containing multiple submissions counts as one entry. Postal entries receive no less favourable treatment in the allocation or selection process.
4.4 A postal entry must reach the stated address before the published closing time and before any published total entry cap is reached. No earlier postal cut-off applies. We will process received entries promptly and, where an email address is supplied, confirm accepted entries and their numbers. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. If an entry arrives after closing, we cannot enter it retrospectively.
4.5 We will allow sufficient time for entries sent by ordinary first or second-class post to reach us and be processed before a Draw closes. Valid free entries received before the published closing time and before any published entry cap is reached will be included on the same basis as paid entries.
5.1 For a Draw, we put all valid qualifying paid and free entries into the same pool and choose the number of winners stated on the Draw Page using a verifiable random process. The Draw Page states the selection date, normally within seven days after closing. We retain an audit record and, where required by the applicable advertising rules, arrange independent supervision or verification.
5.2 If an error affects selection or the result, we will investigate using the audit record and correct it fairly, without quietly replacing a valid winner. Our decisions on the administration of a Draw are final subject to applicable law and your right to raise a complaint.
6.1 The Draw Page identifies the prize, its condition (new or used), included parts and accessories, any material restrictions, and whether shipping within the UK or collection is included. Photographs are illustrative only where clearly identified as such. A cash alternative is available only when the Draw Page expressly specifies its amount and terms.
6.2 We will award the advertised prize. If it becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we will contact the winner about a genuinely comparable replacement of at least equal value or another remedy required by law. We will not substitute a lower value prize merely because entry sales are below expectations.
6.3 RC vehicles, batteries and chargers must be used in accordance with their instructions, age recommendations, local rules and appropriate safety precautions. A prize advertised as an RTR model includes only the items stated on its Draw Page; batteries, chargers, radio equipment or other accessories should never be assumed included. Where a prize includes lithium batteries, we will provide the supplier’s safety information and arrange suitable delivery or collection.
6.4 Any manufacturer’s warranty or statutory rights that apply to a supplied prize are unaffected by these terms. The winner is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission to use the prize in a particular location.
7.1 We will contact each potential winner by email and, if provided, telephone within seven days of selection. We will make reasonable efforts to reach them. The winner has 14 days from our first notification to respond and provide reasonable evidence of eligibility, unless the Draw Page clearly specifies a longer period. We may extend this where there is a good reason.
7.2 If a potential winner is ineligible, declines the prize, or does not respond after reasonable contact attempts and the claim period, we may select another qualifying entry by the same method. We will keep a record of that decision. No prize will be withheld solely because a winner declines marketing publicity.
7.3 We will arrange delivery or collection with the verified winner within 30 days of confirming eligibility, unless the Draw Page explains a different timetable. The Draw Page will disclose any delivery charge or collection requirement before entry. A cash prize, if offered, will be paid to a UK bank account in the winner’s name after proportionate verification.
8.1 To show that prizes were awarded, we will publish or make available the surname and county of residence of major prize winners, and the winning entry number where appropriate. A winner can object to or limit disclosure of these details by emailing info@insidelinecompetitions.com. We may still have to provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8.2 Photographs, videos, testimonials and promotional interviews are optional and require separate permission. Refusing them has no effect on eligibility or the prize.
9.1 Entry prices, charges and any applicable taxes will be shown before payment. We do not offer a general change-of-mind refund for a valid entry once it has been entered in a Draw, but this does not affect any statutory rights. We will refund a failed or duplicate payment, a paid entry we cannot accept, or entries to a Draw we cancel. If a material change unfairly affects existing entrants, we will offer an appropriate remedy.
9.2 If we must cancel a Draw, we will publish the reason and refund paid entry fees to the original payment method within a reasonable time. Free entrants will be notified where we hold their contact details. We will not cancel a Draw solely because too few paid entries have been sold.
10.1 We use entrant information to administer accounts, process entries, prevent fraud, verify and contact winners, deliver prizes and keep the records needed to demonstrate a fair award. Our Privacy Policy explains the lawful bases, recipients, retention periods and your UK data protection rights. Marketing messages require a separate lawful basis; entry alone is not consent to receive them.
10.2 If you exercise a data protection right, we will handle your request under applicable law. Where information is genuinely needed to administer an active entry or award a prize, we will explain the effect of deleting it rather than automatically forfeiting your prize or refusing a lawful request.
11.1 We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not responsible for a failed entry we never receive due to events outside our reasonable control, but will investigate any confirmed payment or processing problem.
11.2 Send complaints to info@insidelinecompetitions.com with the Draw name and relevant entry information. We will acknowledge them within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 20 working days. These times do not affect your legal rights.
12.1 We may update these general terms for future Draws. Terms applicable when you enter remain available to you; a material change to an active Draw will be made only where genuinely necessary and will be communicated fairly.
12.2 References to other brands or social media platforms do not imply that they sponsor or administer a Draw unless its Draw Page says so.
12.3 The laws of England and Wales govern these terms. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain any mandatory consumer protection and rights to bring proceedings in your home courts.
